Wake up deer hunters! Here is the answer for hunting the big woods up north. This gun weighs 6 pounds even. Compare that to a Remington 750 that weighs almost 2 pounds more. A 20 gauge slug gives up NOTHING to a 45-70 at 99% of the target distances you will kill your deer at. Think Brenneke. Think dead deer. Slap an optic on the top rail if you feel you need it. Otherwise use the peep and fire sight which is good in dim light as-is. No pumping delay or click-clack sounds. Just wam-bam, thank you maam, would you like another? See a grouse? Drop in a shot round and pot him with the smooth bore barrel. Home Defense? Eh. Whatever. Zombie Fantasy stuff. Woods Hunter needs? Yeah baby, here is the cure.
