Remington number 2 lead is THE best varmint load made. Great penetration, high velocity retention and perfect pellet count and pattern. You will never need 3 or 3-1/2" shells, tungsten shot or any other high tech hooey.
Nothing puts down foxes, raccoons or coyotes more effectively. Works great out to 50 yards. Good defense load, as it will not over penetrate through walls.
