I bought this for range practice and have had great results with it. I use the +P for home protection but it is costly for the range, and the 130 GR is perfect for practice. Now I just need more cartridges to perfect my score.

Great range ammo. Shoots nicely and accurate, good value here.

I bought a case of these Remington .38spl 130gr (not +P) on a great deal for my S&W 442 snub as practice, the most similar to my 110gr PD ammo that costs a lot more. Good - the recoil is lighter, compariable to the 110gr PDs MMMM - I wouldn't say it's the cleanest ammo the 442 has seen, maybe even makes the 442 wanting to be cleaned more often? Poor - my 442 says ~20% of these do not fire the first time but do fire the second time around - I would rather pay a bit more to be free of this problem. Ammo is stored indoors conditioned space, no lubes near primers, 442's only other no-fire problems were admitted by manufacturer as a defect & ammo revised since (Hornady).

Inexpensive ammo, burn clean, shoots GREAT as target ammo. I shoot this stuff in my 357 mag for practice and fun. Very consistent groups. Today I'm shopping for another 1,000 rounds so 'go figure'.
