The Ruger Redhawk revolver was Ruger's first double-action revolver specifically designed for the powerful 44 Magnum cartridge. It embodies many advanced features such as a "triple-locking" cylinder, a unique "single spring" mechanism for relatively lighter trigger pull, replaceable front sights and adjustable rear sights, with an all-stainless steel construction. The Ruger Redhawk KRH-45-4 is available in 45 Colt and features the Black Hogue Grip.

I took delivery of my Ruger KRH444 yesterday and spent the better part of the morning putting rounds through it. Last month I purchased the Ruger SR1911 and thought I wouild never buy another gun that would reach the standards and accuracy of the 1911; boy was I wrong.
The 44 mag is far more accurate than I am. All I had to do was hang on for the ride. I was not disappointed.
I can not recommend this gun too much. Buy it and you will not be disappointed.

I'm trying to make up my mind which of the two revolvers to purchase; the Ruger Redhawk 45 or the 44 mag, for personal protection. Currently, HO is out of stock on both so I'll probably purchase the first one available unless someone in the "know" convinces me to go with one or the other.
