If you live in one of the "Slug States" the Model 220 slug gun is all you need on your next whitetail hunt. It is a highly specialized bolt actionshotgun that obsoletes the traditional shotgun with a rifled barrel. Most importantly it is built like a Savage rifle so it will shoot more like a Savage rifle than your trusty shotgun ever will. This model Comes equipped with a synthetic stock, carbon steel barrel, AccuTrigger, Detachable box magazine and is drilled and tapped for scope mounts.

I've been hunting with a Browning A-Bolt 12 Guage Rifled Barrel shotgun for many years. I recently bought a Savage Model 220F Slug Gun and this is by far, in my opinion, the most accurate slug gun out there.

The action is extremely smooth and it is extremely lightweight. Excellent gun for deer hunting.

This is hands down the most accurate slug gun on the market, shooting Remington's accutip slugs is a must, and Nikon's BDC shotgun scope works perfectly.
