This is a fantastic bullet, and has performed perfectly in every load I've used it in. I've only personally used it in handgun cartridges. The trajectory is always flat and hits at point of aim in all loads I've used it in, at all non-hunting normal handgun distances. I have no personal experience with using this bullet for scoped revolver hunting, but I know of people that agree with its accuracy. I use this bullet in both 45 ACP and 45 Colt. At velocities under 800 fps, it pretty much acts like a semi-wadcutter. At lower velocities, it pretty much just punches a perfect .45 inch hole through whatever it hits. It really needs to go over 800 fps to expand. In 45 ACP, you'll need to go over pressure to reach that velocity, but it's easily attainable in 45 Colt. If you have a Ruger in 45 Colt, you can load these put a 44 Magnum to shame. I fired one, at around 850 fps, into three feet of soaked phone books. It left a perfectly straight, five or six inch, wound channel of shredded paper two feet deep. It was facing backward, and looked like it had turned around in the last six or so inches. I didn't weigh it, but I didn't see anything missing. It had expanded beautifully. I know of people who use this bullet with a sabot in 50 caliber black powder rifles and rave about it for hunting as well. Again, I have no personal experience with using this bullet for hunting, but from what I've seen in handgun cartridges, I'm sure it's awesome.
