I purchase this light (also called the Stylus Pro) from another supplier (didn't know about Hinterland then - paid several $$ more) for my wife.

She took it on a Northern European/Eastern Russian tour in Aug/Sep this summer. I was very impressed with the power and the concentricity of the beam. In total darkness with new batteries (AAAx2) it put out approximately 36-40 lumens (compared with pistol lights of known value) with a very crisply defined circular edge.

This is enough power to temporarily blind an opponent in a blackout home defense scenario at apartment sized room dimensions (less than 20 feet).

This light, unlike many others I have used, maintains an amazingly uniform brightness across the entire circle of light. Additionally, it is well sealed against moisture and dust, and probably submersible to a few feet in a pinch.

I am very favorably impressed with the quality and workmanship of this product. My only regret is not having saved the several bucks by buying at Hinterland.

Handy light. Not for illuminating the back yard, but great for looking into or around a trunk or small room. Typical Streamlight quality. I had a problem with the batteries leaking in mine, no fault of the light.
