Received this rifle a couple of weeks back. When I unboxed it it was just what I expected - a well built rifle with good fit and finish. It has a bit more wight to it than a Model 94 but the flexibility of the .357/.38 Special loads makes this a great range and near game hunting rifle. It shoots very accurate with either cartridge. I have put a few hundred cartridges through it - .357 and .38 special and have had no issues with cycling. The cartridge does not also eject off center - I have not figured out if that is me, the cartridge, or the rifle but it has not been an issue to date. This is one rifle I will leave as is ... no scope ... shoots great without it. I have used .38 special and .357 cowboy loads so far in it and it enjoys all of them. A good rifle to buy when you can.
