Product Description

Elite Dual Bond shotshells offer a large hollow point sabot slug, which provides consistent upsets at a variety of ranges and impact velocities. The heavy outer jacket is mechanically bonded to the inner bullet. The inner bullet utilizes a proprietary bonding process which welds the lead core to a second jacket which results in a design that provides for a combination of knockdown power, solid penetration and significant tissue damage while retaining nearly 100% of the original weight.

Have used this slug on NY whitetails for 2 seasons coupled with a Beretta A400 with a rifled barrel topped with a Leupold 3 X 9 X 40 Ultimate slam scope. This combo has proved to be a lethal combination having harvested 2 does and a buck in 5 days of hunting. The two does shot at 65 and 70 yards. Doe 1 shot right through the boiler room. Slug exited deer with little expansion. She ran 50 yards into a patch of briers before expiring (tough to go too far with liquefied lungs). Doe 2 - front quartering shot. A little more bullet expansion, but doe dropped in her tracks. Day 5, seven point buck enters a soybean field at 115 yards to feed and touch up a scape. Touched off my third shot of the season and Mr. buck dropped like a stone. Hit was about 1" high. Took out both lungs (jelly), broke ribs both entering and exiting with enough energy to break the deer's back. I am impressed enough with this shell that I just purchased 10 more boxes from Hinterland (best prices with shipping I found).
