Release buttons to fix in place. Press down on the mount to secure the mount in place and remove any slack. To remove - squeeze buttons on the sides and pull away from rail. Both buttons must be pushed to release the mount. larger buttons make it easier to mount and remove quick detach from rails. The QD Adapter is 60mm long, ~ 2.5 long. Also has three slots of Picatinny rail if needed. QD is the Quick Detach version for use with standard QD slings in the machined socket. Quick Release M-Lok mount for QD sling swivel mounting. Socket accepts all standard sized QD sling swivel mounts.
