A streamlined semi-spitzer ogive, boattail base and tack-driving accuracy make the Barnes Spit-Fire MZ a great choice for difficult long shots. Deadly at high and low velocities, it has six razor-sharp copper petals create massive shock, deep penetration, and double-diameter expansion. The Spit-Fire MZ retains virtually 100 percent of its original weight.

I shot these through my CVA Accura. One of the most accurate rounds I've fired in a muzzleloader. I use 100 grains (Volume) of Blackhorn 209 and a magnum primer. I shot two deer with these and both blood trails were not very good. The deer were shot at 80 and 100 yards. Neither deer had any blood at the point of impact, but I did find blood about 25 yards from where the deer were shot. Both blood trails were minimal. One deer recovered and one deer wasn't.
Poor blood trials
Hard to load.
