I originally purchased the Bersa Firestorm .380 as a CC for my wife for a number of reasons and after owning and shooting it myself for months now, here is my short list review: * It's never had a failure. * It's right on Ergonomically. * The felt recoil is a non-factor. * It is accurate and absolutely rugged. * It can easily be carried in a purse or IWB holster. * Take down and cleaning and reassembly is super easy. * The Fixed Barrel Design, like the Walther PPK design but at half the price! It's a perfect Starter Pistol for Concealed Carry in many ways but it is also just a great Pistol to add to the collection. I will never sell it - it is a definite keeper!

I bought the firestorm over the thunder for personal reasons. I love the grips, better fit for my hand. The rounded trigger guard allows me to insert gun in carry locations smoother. Being a senior citizens the sights were much easier to focus with then 3 dots. The gun is a delight to shoot. Ran 300+ rounds and no jams miss fires or any problems. Simple brake down and clean. Highly recommend this gun! If you haven't looked at and handled the firestorm your missing out on a chance to own a great gun. This is the first gun I bought on line. Usually purchase at gun shop. However these boys from Texas were the best I ever dealt with. The easiest and smoothest transaction I ever made. Thank you Hinterland Outfitters!

Well I haven't purchased this gun as of yet. I do plan to as it has all the things i'm looking for including a hammer block & rubber grips. Hinterland has one of the best selections I have found on the internet.

The simple fact of it is, I bought this gun as a carry pistol. I didn't expect anything except anything except an overall well-functioning firearm. That is far less than what I got. I got an exceptionally functioning firearm. The Bersa Firestorm is a FABULOUS GUN! Overall: it’s a great gun, its clean looking, it feels great to hold, it has a wonderful overall weight and has a wealth of safety features (very good for Carry, slightly irritating for a range gun). It does have a magazine disconnect, but it is required in CA. Accuracy: even from 30 yards you can make a two inch grouping. It is truly a good shot. The fixed barrel solves a lot of the accuracy issues experienced by short barrel pocket pistols. Trigger: regardless of single or double the trigger pull is smooth. It’s no Kimber solo, but its smooth, with some polishing it could be great. In single, the trigger pull is LONG but as a safety feature for those of us who carry in purses it is very useful! In double, the pull is short and tidy. It’s a bit heavy but not enough to really complain about. Safety: here is my only real issue with the gun. The safety works as a decocker as well as a safety. So when you engage the "safety" it disengages the hammer. I do see the safety benefit in this but I like to carry hammer engaged and one in the chamber with the safety on. With this gun you cannot do this. I have adapted to carrying one in the chamber hammer detective and safety off. It works and is very functional. Magazine and release: the magazine actually holds 8 rounds but you cannot load it in to the firearm with 8 rounds. The magazine falls out easily when the release is pressed and it is easy to reload a new magazine. For me, with the tiny girl hands I have the magazine release is kind of hard to get to, I have had to angle the gun to reach it (this is a common problem for me). The release is placed in a way that makes it difficult to accidentally eject the magazine. Overall Summary: even though this is an inexpensive gun it is really nice. It is made with some inferior parts that may have to be replaced in the future. Some of the features are a bit off. For $ 300 you just can’t complain. On scales of 1-10 - 1 being bad, 10 being perfect - Value = 9, overall quality = 7, Bang for your buck = 10. (Please forgive any spelling or grammar issues, I am very dyslexic.)
