From the Forged by War program comes Austin McGlauns Du Hoc, named in remembrance of his uncles D-Day landing at Pointe du Hoc. Much like the Rangers who scaled the 100-foot Normandy cliffs under heavy enemy fire, this knife does the impossible. It transforms Austin's large, fixed-blade Karambit into a pocketable folding knife without sacrificing the notable strength of the original, thanks to a powerful Deadbolt lock and a smaller but still generous 3.62" blade. Armed with Assisted Opening, the blade can be rapidly deployed with either the flipper or thumb stud. The G10 handle with thumb ring aids ergonomics and provides an extra secure grip.
