Tuned to perform, the Match Target Rifle is a bit different than most 527s. Not only does it have a heavier- than-normal barrel (measuring .866 at the muzzle), it also gets a fully-adjustable trigger very similar to the one found on the 557. Though it lacks the Single Set function of other 527s, this trigger is able to be finely adjusted and is a superb choice for target shooting where precision is required. It features a Turkish Walnut Stock, heavy cold hammer forged barrel, and two position safety. It has a 1:9" twist rate, 25.6" barrel, and a weighs in at about 8.7lbs. The MTR is threaded for use with a suppressor (1/x228 in 223).
