The GFR (Geissele Freedom Rifle) Recce MOD1 builds on the backbone of the proven GFR line, purpose-built for serious use. The Geissele Freedom Rifle was purpose built around the cartridge and designed to maximize performance of 6mm ARC. The rifle delivers the downrange energy, flat trajectory and ballistic coefficient of the 6mm ARC. The GFR Recce MOD1 features fully ambidextrous controls; a magazine release on the left side of the receiver below the Maritime Bolt Catch makes mag changes swift for left-handed use, the right side of the receiver features bolt catch and release buttons below the ejection port; barrels are cold hammer forged and chrome-lined in house; Nanoweapon coated Reliability Enhanced BCG with forged Carpenter 158+ bolt sets the standard for long-term endurance under high round counts and adverse conditions; patented Phased Array Gas Technology reduces recoil impulse for an extremely smooth shooting experience and quicker target reacquisition; Super charging handle; Mil-Spec 6 position Buffer Tube and Geissele SBS Buttstock. Includes one 8rd Geissele ICM magazine.
