The MP2 was designed around life support equipment; equipment that we need to get to fast when time is life. The MP2 inserts allow 30 round 5.56" 5.45" 7.62 and .308 rifle magazines to be run in open top nylon pockets" without bungies and without sacrificing retention of the magazine. The click-in design allows end users to insert magazines "bullets front" or "bullets back" and delivers a smooth draw of a fresh source without impacting the ability to quickly retain partial magazines in the case of a tac reload. The new MP2 has improved retention and will retain its shape even after extended use. The MP2 is built specifically for the D3CR as well as the D3CRX-H and D3CRM inserts. The MP2 works with a variety of industry leading nylon magazine carriers including those made by Mayflower Research & Consulting" Velocity Systems" Extreme Gear Labs" LBT" First Spear and more.
