Hudson H9's elegant simplicity and cutting-edge design is unite in a
stunning example of modern weaponry. It features an all-steel frame with a
black finish, straight-pull trigger, trigger safety, G10 VZ grip and
interchangeable grip panels, and an accessory rail for aftermarket lights
or lasers. The unconventional nose of the pistol allows for the barrel and
recoil spring to sit drastically lower and closer to the hand than heritage
This, coupled with its striker-fired design, creates an extremely
low bore axis which reduces torque about the wrist when firing and
contributes to unparalleled precision in the shot process.

The Hudson H9 is a fantastic new design. It really does live up to the hype. All steel construction, a 1911 style trigger and grip-frame, and a striker-fired action make for a wonderful shooting experience. The relocated recoil assembly in front of the trigger card really does lower flip to an amount that is comparable to my compensated Walther PPQ.
There are a few niggles:
One, the stock sights aren't on. The front sight is too high. I recommend a .160T front sight from Dawson precision, or sending the pistol out to KEArms to be milled for a red dot.
Two, the trigger safety is a little bit gritty at first. The trigger itself has an incredible break and reset, but it takes about 300 rnds/dry fires to smooth at the safety itself.
Hinterland Outfitters was a great source to purchase from. Delivery to my FFL was prompt and I'm extremely satisfied.
