It positions the light close to the handguard at an optimized offset angle, providing ergonomic thumb activation while minimizing rail space usage and reducing snag risk. The mount features LaRue’s adjustable QD speed lever for secure, repeatable attachment to any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail. Designed for lightweight, low-profile carbines, the Surefire Scout Mount maintains clearance with front iron sights when mounted forward and installs without permanent modification
