I must redo my first review. I was going on what the one I used to own was like, but this one was and is still a real disappointment; however I have yet to get to shoot. I got it from somewhere else beside Hinterland so this does not have any bad review about Hinterland. It is only about Marlin and Remington customer service. I got the gun out of the box and the front sights were off center to the left a bit. Well it has been around 8 weeks since I sent it back in to the company. They said 4 to 6 weeks and now they are saying the barrel is on back order and they don't have it yet. UNACCEPTABLE. But what can I do huh, from now on I will stick to Ruger and Henry for 22 plinking.

I'll tell you the truth! This is absolutely one of the best shooting plinking guns I have ever shot. Right out of the box dead on with the open sights
the scope is little to be desired but I knew it was going to be cheap. I would like to get a inexpensive Tasco for it but that is a different story.
The gun, however, is again one of the best. I can teach my grandson on it without any worry. Thank you marlin for making such a great inexpensive product.
