The Maxim Defense QD Hatebrake System combines the QD Flash Hider with the Hate Shroud to create a versatile, modular muzzle device built for suppressed and unsuppressed setups. Designed for fast transitions, it delivers excellent muzzle control, recoil reduction, and a smoother shooting experience—no matter your configuration. Machined from 17-4 H900 stainless steel and finished with the durable Richter C3B coating, the system offers outstanding strength, corrosion resistance, and heat tolerance. The QD Flash Hider attaches directly to the barrel as the foundation. From there, you can either thread on a HUB QD Adapter (sold separately) for quick suppressor mounting or add the Hate Shroud to convert it into an effective muzzle brake. The Hate Shroud reduces recoil, pushes gas and debris forward in a cone-shaped pattern, and helps contain muzzle flash—all while fitting cleanly under MDX and SDX handguards for a sleek, integrated look.
