I used these to mount a 30mm Tube 3-12x 42mm Pride Fowler Rapid Reticle Evolution Rifle Scope on my bolt-action 22lr CZ-455 American rifle and there is plenty of clearance for scope lens (with flip-up lens covers) as well as working the bolt of the gun.
