I've had this Air Rifle for about a year now. It does what you'd expect: Accurate, WAY over 1000FPS, it's actually closer to 1250FPS with High Quality ammo.
Great for targets, plinking, and it's great for "taking care" of squirrels, chipmunks, possums, raccoon and crows, provided that you're using hunting pellets.
The stock is very comfortable, it has a nice contour, decent cheekrest and a rubber recoil pad. It is a little front-heavy, but that is just because it is spring powered. with the scope on, it balances fairly well.
This is one rugged gun; I've had it out in -3F weather and snow, and it performed admirably. Held up well on camping and hunting trips, get a nice case and you are all set.
The 'iron' sights are fibre-optic ramp sights, Green [double] rear and Red [single] front, which provides good contrast. As they are ramp sights, they are a little fidgety, but once you zero them, let them settle, and re-zero them, they are really good. they are adjustable for windage and distance, very nice.
The scope is really nice, i actually have used it on my S&W 15-.22. nice, crisp image, good crosshairs, and solid adjustments.
That being said, the only gripe i have is this: the scope mounts supplied with the gun ALWAYS [100% of the time] come loose after no more than 7 shots, which is a pain in the behind because it must be re-zeroed each time.
While accuracy is attainable at 100 and even 110 yards, it ha very little stopping power at this distance. If you are hunting, try to keep the distances under 80 yards, for the sake of the animals. If it's a raccoon or possum, try and get closer.
Just invest in some good mounts, and this gun [and provided scope] will last a long time, and provide great accuracy and power out to 80 yards.
Good luck and safe shooting.
