The PPQ M2 is a true breakthrough in ergonomics for self-defense handguns. The styling is elegant and trim with a sculpted grip that meshes smoothly into the hand. The PPQ M2 has a reversible mag release button and an ambidextrous slide stop. The 'Quick Defense' trigger works in conjunction with a fully pre-loaded striker assembly. The trigger pull of 5.6 lbs remains unchanged from the first shot to the last and requires no decocker. The PPQ M2 has two drop safeties and a firing pin block for safe carry. Because the firearm is in a constant cocked state, the striker does not protrude from the back of the slide. The polymer frame has interchangeable backstraps and an integral Picatinny Mil-Spec rail. It has low profile, 3-dot sights with a windage adjustable rear. The PPQ M2 is available with a 4" or 5" Tenifer-coated slide and standard barrel or the 9mm Navy model with a 4.6" threaded barrel.

Found my gun! Let me start by saying I am not a fan of striker fired guns nor am I a fan of the Glock style safety trigger. However, this gun just rocks right out of the box. I did change the sights and backstrap which were both very easy. I own 14 handguns that include Wilson Combat and high end Sigs and this gun out shoots them all at a third of the price. Trigger is light and I still need to get used to reset. Double taps can be unexpected at times. I have put 300 rounds of 115 grain FMJ without any problems. Accuracy is a finally a constant with a handgun at 25 feet or longer. Does have a little more muzzle flip than expected for a 5 inch barrel but not too difficult keeping on target. First time ordering from Hinterland and they were awesome to deal with on this hard to find gun.

After one afternoon of shooting, I rate this gun 4 stars. The only reason I did not give it 5 was one failure to lock slide open using TtulAmmo steel 115g ammo, and I might have limp wristed it. Other than that, able to hit small steel silhouette target (8x 15 inches) at both 25 and 50 yards. At 100 yards was able to hit full size silhouette target if I worked at it. Put 200 rounds through it with some reloads and Federal 115g with no other problems. Sweet sweet trigger. Same sights as on the P22 which is a gun that never misses, at least out to 50 yards. PPQ is a keeper.
